What are you Grateful for? - A prompt

What are you Grateful for?

To be alive in this beautiful world with the ability to fall in love.

My strong support system.

My loving family.

For not being impoverished.

For full functionality of my senses.

For opportunities to learn and grow.

For my teachers throughout my life who have educated me, and also *taught* me.

That I haven't become cynical or jaded yet.

That I am self aware enough to make choices and changes.

For air to breathe.

For therapy.

For friends who love and forgive me.

For food to eat and clean water to drink.

For nature.

For knowing who I am and what I want.

For doctors.

For science and literature.

For beauty and hope and love.

For Peter.

For Penny.

For sisters.

For growing up in a loving and supportive household.

For parents who became friends.

For God - whatever that ends up meaning.

For the bad things that taught me lessons, made me humble, and reinforced my strength.

And the good things, all the good things, that remind me life is worth living, adventures worth having, and love is always worth the risk.

And for you, whoever you are, reading this right now I am grateful for you.
